Post What is NASDAQ?

NASDAQ is one of the largest american stock exchanges with nearly 3,500 listed companies.

NASDAQ stands for National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotation System.

Launched in 1971 being the nations first
electronic stock market. Now in 2008 most in the business calls NASDAQ a technology stock exchange.

NASDAQ is a computerized system linking buyers and sellers via a network, located on wallstreet in new york city.

The stock market index of NASDAQ is the nasdaq-100 counting 100 of the largest domestic and international non-financial companies listed on the nasdaq stock exchange.

This index started in 1985 and began the same day as the NASDAQ financial-100 index.
